Privacy Policy
Plain English summary: We collect your email, phone number, and the content of emails you forward to DayFlo. We use that content only to do the job you signed up for — organizing your schedule and sending you reminders. We do not sell your data. We do not show you ads. We do not train AI models on your personal content. That's the short version. The full version follows.
This Privacy Policy describes how DadosaPrimeLLC ("DayFlo," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use the DayFlo service at getdayflo.com and related applications.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account.
- Payment information: Billing details are collected and processed by our payment processor (Paddle). We do not store your full credit card number.
- Hero discount verification: If you apply for the Hero discount (military, law enforcement, fire, EMS, or teachers), you email a copy of your qualifying ID to verify@getdayflo.com. These documents are reviewed once to verify eligibility and are permanently deleted afterward. They are never stored in our systems.
- SMS commands: Text messages you send to DayFlo's service phone number.
Information from emails you forward
When you forward an email to your personal DayFlo address, we receive and process the content of that email. Our AI extracts scheduling information — dates, times, locations, and event descriptions. We retain the extracted structured event data to power your calendar and reminders.
Information collected automatically
- Log data (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited) for security and service improvement
- Usage data (features used, frequency) in aggregate to improve the product
- SMS delivery confirmations from Twilio
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the DayFlo service
- Parse forwarded emails and create calendar events
- Send SMS reminders to your phone number
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts, service alerts)
- Respond to your support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information to:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Display targeted advertising
- Train AI models on your personal email content
- Share your data with data brokers
3. AI Processing
DayFlo uses the Claude API (provided by Anthropic) to parse forwarded emails and extract scheduling information. Email content sent to the Claude API for processing is subject to Anthropic's data handling practices. Anthropic does not use API content to train their models. Parsed content (extracted event details) is stored in our database.
4. SMS and Twilio
SMS reminders and inbound SMS commands are delivered via Twilio. All DayFlo SMS communications take place through our shared service phone number. Your phone number is shared with Twilio for the purpose of sending and routing messages. Twilio's Privacy Policy governs their handling of that information. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any DayFlo message.
5. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks on our behalf. When you check out, you provide your payment details directly to Paddle. We receive notification of successful payments but do not see or store your full card details. Paddle's Privacy Policy governs their handling of payment data.
6. Information Sharing
We share your information only with:
- Service providers: Twilio (SMS), Anthropic (AI parsing), Paddle (payments), SendGrid (email), Auth0 (authentication), and AWS (infrastructure). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.
- Business transfers: If DadosaPrimeLLC is acquired or merges with another entity, your data may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
7. Data Retention
- Active accounts: We retain your data while your account is active.
- Cancelled accounts: We retain account data for 90 days after cancellation in case you want to reactivate, then delete it.
- Verification documents: Hero discount ID documents are deleted immediately after verification — they are never stored.
- Logs: Security and access logs are retained for 12 months.
8. Security
We protect your data using industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. Our infrastructure runs on AWS with RDS PostgreSQL. No system is 100% secure — if you have reason to believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at help@getdayflo.com.
9. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability: Request your calendar event data in a standard format
- Opt-out of SMS: Reply STOP to any DayFlo message

10. Children's Privacy
DayFlo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. California residents may request disclosure of what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or sell. Contact us at help@getdayflo.com to make such a request.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
